The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, a one-man show written by John Minigan, performing through October 18th @ Washington Stage Guild!
Positively reviewed, and HELEN HAYES recommended!
“As narrator, author, lead character, and ensemble all rolled into one, Peter Boyer’s performance throughout this one-man production was a delight to witness. … what fascinated me most was the rapid fluidity of Boyer’s carefully crafted physicality — popping from one persona to the next with smoothness and ease.” – Em Skow, DC Theatre Arts
“This adaptation of the short story features Peter Boyer as all of the characters, (including Washington Irving) and he absolutely delivers.” – Kate Mankowski, MD Theatre Guide
“With only a handful of props, Boyer portrays twenty different characters throughout the tale, all with such distinct voices and mannerisms that one never questions who is speaking through him onstage, an impressive feat. … Sleepy Hollow promises an funny, entertaining seasonal treat for audiences of all ages.” – Morgan Musselman, Broadway World
